I’ve been toying with the idea of a blog post talking derby diets for a while. What do we eat? What should we actually eat? And all that jazz, but the truth is, we eat whatever we want to eat and that differs from derby girl to derby girl. One of the best things about roller derby is the social side of things, meeting up for pints and a burrito/burger/pizza/whatever else is tasty.
But! There is one thing almost all of us do have in common with our diets, and it’s the same for any diet that goes hand in hand with exercise, which is protein! And also, cake.
